Midway Farm is a 45 acre working farm located in North Florida which has beautiful oaks, pines and abundant wildlife. It is owned and operated by Jimmy and Tammy Williams. We have been married 20 years and enjoy 4 children and 10 grandchildren. We were able to realize our dream of a farm in 2014 with the purchase of land and building a home. Researching and planning to make the most of small acreage is what led us to the miniature breeds. Nigerian Dwarf goats came first. 5 years later we still enjoy this small breed but admit they taught us many valuable lessons about set up and fencing. The smiling faces and sweet nature of the Olde English Southdown "Babydoll" Sheep brighten every day on our farm. Our first miniature Scottish Highland Cattle named Lil Thor, Marielle, Daphne, Opal, and Adele were bought and transported from Minnesota. We immediately fell in love with the docile friendly nature of this breed, so the expansion continues. We are excited and blessed to add what has been dubbed "the cutest sheep in the world". In 2021 we purchased 4 Valais Blacknose sheep F1, named Harper, Illini, Ivy, and Iva. We are participating in the breed up program as this beautiful breed is new to North America. Our first AI was December 17, 2021 and we were blessed to have 2 Valais Blacknose sheep F2 ewes and 1 ram. Again, Thank You for your trust and support of Williams Midway Farm and please know all blessings are from our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Our first goal is to provide responsible, compassionate, stewardship of land and animals.
